I rarely show my face on any online forum, trying my best to change this. Sometimes it is my insecurities, sometimes it is my shyness, sometimes it is my need for anonymity, sometimes it is because I want this business to be amazing without me. However, I also know I enjoy getting to know the face behind businesses! So….My name is Kebby (yes real name, no not short for anything, I think my mom intended for me to be outspoken and creative from the start, why else would you decide to make up a name derived from your father’s initials? 😊 okay, sorry back to the business) and I started teaching art in 2000 and fell in love with teaching a new approach to art-making that was all about giving a voice to the creator, something I had not witnessed from my own experiences or that of my children. I went on to open my first brick-and-mortar art studio in 2008 and additional studios in 2014, 2018, and have now branched into two new businesses Do ART daily studio in San Rafael and Marin pottery both opening in 2020 (well not actually “opening” since Covid had our businesses shut down, super fun time).
